Episode 16 - Toy Soldiers

A bunch of new recruits arrive aboard the Saratoga. Unexpectedly, Nathan collars one of the young men and starts yelling at him. It turns out that the new soldier is none other than Nathan's brother Neil. But Neil's commanding officer turns out to be a gung-ho glory hound, and he may prove to be more dangerous to his unit than the Chigs.

Episode 17 - Dear Earth

When mail call delivers letters and packages from Earth, the Five-Eight are in for a few surprises. McQueen and Hawkes receive letters letting them know that a film crew is coming to the Saratoga to film them for a television special on In Vitros. West gets a letter from his parents and is shocked when he figures out that they haven't been notified of their son's death (Neil West). Vansen gets a home video from her sister that helps may help her realize what she is fighting for. Damphoose goes into battle and ends up with a condition that no doctor can help.

Episode 18 - Pearly

The 58th are on planet and are running from the Chigs. When Vansen is injured in an attack and their ride, an army tank, is caught in a trap, it seems their only hope for making it out is the helping hand of a British Officer. But just which side is he fighting for?¯¯Meanwhile Wang is running into trouble from the past when he stumbles across two AI?s with plans of their own for the 58th.

Episode 19- R & R

During a long hammerhead patrol, tired from the constant working and fighting, the 58th are jumped by the Chigs and Hawkes almost ends up dead. Commodore Ross, seeing that his top squadron is over worked, orders them to take a weekend?s leave on the nearby pleasure ship Bacchus. However he is quick to point out, the 58th are not the same people they were when they joined. This turns out to be very true and it does not take long for them to find themselves in trouble.

Episode 20 - Stardust

The 58th wakes one morning to find the Saratoga silent and their planes off limits. The crew is on full alert and the brass isn?t tell them anything. Then just when they get back to their planes and things start to get underway, they discover someone has added hardware to their planes. Removing the parts and heading out on their mission, the 58th find themselves under friendly fire - both from an APC and from their commanding officers.

Episode 21 - Sugar Dirt

The 58th along with many other squadrons attack Planet Demios with plans to capture it, but when they Chigs are ready, Earth forces get more then what they bargained for. Facing heavy losses, the brass are about ready to give up when word come that a window has opened for an major advancement. It could take years off the war and save millions of live, but they would have to abandon all the soldiers on Demios, including the 58th. They decide proceed and leave the Wildcards to face their darkest days of the war.

Episode 22 - And If They Lay Us Down to Rest...

While on a recon. mission on the planet Anvil, the planet that be used to station a massive landing force as part of Operation Roundhammer. While on planet the 58th run into an unknown alien. After pursuing it through the jungle like environment, they find it hiding in a cavern full of unborn aliens. Knowing that Earths forces will most likely destroy this alien and the cavern of it?s young, they must choose how to deal with this alien.
